Welcome to the Danz Festival Lëtzebuerg
After 20 years of pioneering work in the field of contemporary dance, the "Festival Cour des Capucins" evolves and provides a forum for dance from the Greater Region.
There are two valid reasons for this:
| - | The dance scene in Luxembourg is growing more and more professional, and its partners have become interesting partners not only in Luxembourg but also abroad. It is thus important to offer them the opportunity to show their work. |
| - | The Danz Festival Lëtzebuerg is in keeping with the outline of the programme LuxPlus2007. It would like to facilitate an exchange with the region in the field of dance not only 2007, but beyond. |
The programme 2005 is fully directed at our Luxembourg choreographers. In 2006, we will invite choreographers from the Greater Region – which has so much to offer for us. For 2007, we plan exchange and cooperation. What the future will bring, is a door to the unknown that we have to push wide open, together with our artists, our sponsors and our public.
In this sense, it is with great pleasure that I wish all participants: "Fluctuat,
nec mergitur!"
