In a series of about ten choreographic pictures, two dancers
and one musician explore the elementary principles of the works
of the painter Paul Klee. They rely on his theories which result
from observation of the plant kingdom: Reduce the means of
expression to a great simplicity, derive from this a multitude of
possible continuations, while passing from repetition to evolution.
Seize the organic movement and its rhythms between activity
and passivity, between suspension and gravity. It is the movement,
and not the outside form, which is at the core of each
formation, of each act of creation.

Annick Pütz develops a dance of organic character starting at
the centre of the body. By way of improvisation, she aims at continuously
refining and varying her means of physical expression. Her dance tries
to mould and shape the space it describes – be it on stage, in
an architectural space or open air. |
