“Pièces détachées”– At the beginning,
a chance encounter
between two men... Immediately, there is chemistry, they deal
with their dance just as they deal with their lives; complicity, a lot
of friendship, a touch of eroticism... Their emotions navigate between
the energy they share and their need for personal space,
which is where their masculinity manifests itself... A duo danced
as a fi lm played in a loop; at the beginning, reality; what follows
is fi ction...“
“Inside & Out” – His name is David, her name is
Denise. Coincidence…:
it could have been two men or two women or… Their
life oscillates between emotion and formality, between what is on
the skin and under the skin. Skin is the border, the very precise
place where I touch the other. Sometimes communication simply
happens, just as a button will fi t into its buttonhole. Sometimes
the fabric just glides over the surface of the skin, with nothing
there to hold it.

Ancient civilisations (Greek, Latin) have defined a way of thinking
and sparked a philosophical spirit. Work in classical dance and discovery
of Merce Cunnigham's work. Decisive meeting with the dancer Susanna
Hayman-Cahffey (Cie. Merce Cunningham), Robert Kovich and others.
Stay in New York at the M. C. school. Lately research of a personal
work that furthers the interaction with other disciplines.
