As a partner of Dance Palace, the Danz Festival Lëtzebuerg
would like to entirely dedicate this evening to artists from Luxembourg.
The subject of the improvisation is migration.
Artists have always been confronted with this subject and have
had to fi nd their own way to deal with it. For those returning to
Luxembourg, the question is how to overcome the feeling of
foreignness in their home country and how to live here as half a
foreigner.
For the new arrivals on the other side, the question is how to
unfold and evolve in close structures such as the ones they fi nd
in Luxembourg.
Further, the improvisation deals with the difficult position in between
the romanic and germanic mentalities, Luxembourg being a
buffer state between these different worlds.
