Insightinside is a collaboration between the artists Anne-Mareike Hess (Luxembourg), Céline Bräunig (Germany) and Marc Lohr (Denmark). The piece was created during a residency in Bacau, Rumania.
During the creation they made are research about “the world of thoughts and communication”. Together they dived into the flow of thoughts and analysed their quality and nature.
The world of thoughts is so complex and personnel, that talking to somebody, we can never be sure, that we talk about the same thing.
Misunderstanding?

Born in Luxembourg, Anne-Mareike Hess started her classical, contemporary and jazz dance studies at the « Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de la Ville de Luxembourg ». After her classical and contemporary dance studies at the « Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst » at Frankfurt - Main (Germany) she has been working since 2006 as a dancer and independent choreographer both in Luxembourg and in Germany. She has worked, amongst others, with William Forsythe, Silke Wiegand (Cie Shade), Dieter Heitkamp and the Performance Forum “Blaue Limonen”, Bernard Baumgarten (Luxembourg) and Gianfranco Celestino (Luxembourg).

Her latest choreographical creations (SSEH, Feelsamkeit, Utopie-Try Out, remember) have been performed in Luxembourg, Germany, Romania, the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada and France. In 2008 she was part of the international project “Dance Roads 2008” and she has been invited to the festival “Repérages” in Lille (France).
