Tala Dance Center is a non-profi t artistic organisation established on February 14th 2000.

The aim is to achieve cooperation and develop networking with foreign dancers, choreographers, cultural institutions, centers and organizations in Europe and worldwide.

We are oriented to regional program through network of partners so as to keep developing them, keep up with new trends, advance, acquire better working conditions, education and involve in systems of modern funding of art and culture. The Tala Dance Center has initiated and organize Platform of young choreographers:

The platform is intended to present the Croatian professional dance scene to the international partners, selectors and eminent guests so that Croatian choreographers and dancers would be given a chance to present the work internationally and to participate in the international artists-exchange program. The program is realised through a network of numerous Platform associates and partners which depend on individual agreement with each partner.

In the last nine years, the Platform has hosted choreographers from Croatia and from many other countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Macedonia, Spain, Israel.
