In 2008, the “danz festival lëtzebuerg” takes a new form and becomes the festival “Le Transfrontalier”: choreographs from Luxembourg, France and Croatia take part in this festival and present their work in June in Nancy and Luxembourg and in Oktober in Zagreb.

The festival is organised by the Centre de Création Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois, the CCN-Ballet de Lorraine and the danz festival lëtzebuerg, in a cooperation with the Grand Théatre du Luxembourg and L’Autre Canal in Nancy. Croatia, with the Tala Dance Center from Zagreb, is the first country in a serie of other countries to be chosen by the partners Nancy and Luxembourg to be invited to take part in the festival.

This collaboration allows the artists to present their works to the public and to take part in a creative exchange.
